We went deeper into the creation process during the international training course “Wood Work in Youth Work”, implemented under the project Erasmus+ 2025-1-PL01-KA220-YOU-000363271.

During the next stage of activities in the makerspace, we focused on reading and refining blueprints and instructions, while also exploring in practice different types of cuts, sanding, drilling, joints, bolts, and assembly elements. At this stage, ideas started turning into real and useful educational tools.

We learned not only the technical aspects of working with wood, but also how to translate them into safe, engaging, and practical educational activities for young people. We tested solutions, analysed instructions, checked the feasibility of individual elements, and looked for the best ways to later use them in the work of youth workers, educators, and trainers.

This was an important part of the process: precision, cooperation, experimentation, and learning by doing. Step by step, we developed resources that will be useful for partner organisations and local communities also after the project ends.

The project was co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme.
